Best Sushi Bars

A relaxed, unpretentious sushi bar on Mission Bay Drive in Pacific Beach, built around traditional Japanese technique rather than scene. Chefs work behind the sushi counter preparing nigiri, sashimi and specialty rolls, and the menu extends to appetizers, lunch plates, sake and wine. The room is low-key and the service friendly, equally suited to an after-work dinner or a family celebration. Reservations can be made online, and takeout is available.
