Himitsu

A discreet La Jolla sushi bar with a small chef's counter and a 20-seat outdoor patio, set in a quiet corner off Torrey Pines Road. Chef Mitsu Aihara serves traditional sushi and nigiri alongside Japanese-style tapas. The room draws on the sushi bars of Ginza and Southern California living. A curated sake list is joined by select natural wines and Japanese and local craft beers, and the intimate scale keeps guests close to the chefs at work.
